Website Development refers not to the design of your website, but to the “behind-the-scenes” operation of your site. Some websites may look great on the surface, but contain errors in the background which have a negative impact on user experience and ranking.

Your business is in good hands with our collaborative and responsive team. Attaining domain registration and securing website hosting is our expertise.

eCommerce and Memberships

Designing a user-friendly e-commerce site is critical for your customers to easily purchase your products. With a solid backend allowing you flexibility, your e-commerce platform will be seamless.

ADA Compliance & Web Support

Don't let your website fall short. As your business continues to evolve, so do government standards. We ensure your site meets ADA compliance regulations, establishing accessibility to users of all abilities abilities.

Daily Backups and Security

Don't let the fear of data breaches and lost content keep you up at night. With our team, we do the heavy lifting for you, both in front of and behind the scenes. To us, daily backups and enhanced security are non-negotiable.

What is Our Process?

Our website design and development process is designed to be seamless and transparent. From our initial consultation to the final launch, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Kickoff Meeting Featured
1. Kickoff Meeting

Each website project begins with a client workshop. The workshop includes all core team members who will work on the project. This is an opportunity for all team members to discuss the project scope, client objectives, and ask questions. This workshop ensures that all team members understand the broader vision of the project and that the scope is clearly defined.

Services Illustration Process Moodboard
2. Discovery Sessions

Once the project scope is clearly defined we will create a site map. A sitemap is a section-by-section outline of each page in the navigation hierarchy of the website. The sitemap is a visual model that shows potential users paths throughout the website, organizing all pages hierarchically. The sitemap will allow us to assign types of content to specific pages and create a comprehensive content outline.

Branding Strat Narrative Featured
3. Strategy & Narrative

The content outline is a text based document that outlines details each site pages functionality, features, expected content volume, along with any other requirements necessary for approval. Following approval of the sitemap, we will deliver a content outline document to the client. This document will act as a guide for creation of the UX wireframes which will be created in the subsequent phase of a website project. The content outline document will be a working document. At the time of its delivery, it may include assumptions and not contain all necessary content and information.

Design Logo Family
4. Design Logo Family

The user experience design process allows us to create a blueprint of the website functionality prior to visual design. This phase ensures that all content is represented properly and optimized for ideal user experience. The wireframes will be a visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of the website. We will plan all features and content areas on each unique page of the website through the creation of wireframes.

Wireframes serve the same purpose to website design and development as blueprints serve to home construction.

Design Branding Featured
5. Design Brand Guide

Mood boards include a collection of design elements that provide initial images, concepts, colors and styles proposed for the general “look and feel” of the project.

The first round of mood boards typically includes 2–3 style concepts delivered to the client in digital format for feedback. We then refine the style until we have an approved direction to proceed with for visual design of the site pages.

Implement Engage Branding (1)
6. Implement and Engage

Design concepts are static, non-functioning, visual designs of website pages. The wireframes and approved mood boards are utilized by the designer to establish the design look and feel of the website pages.

Design concepts are typically delivered in JPEG format for client review. Round 1 of design concepts will usually only include designs of the website home page. Typically 2–3 home page design concepts are provided for client feedback. Round 2 and Round 3 of design comps will incorporate client changes and flow the design style into every site page for client approval.

Some of the common questions we get asked

Frequently Ask Questions

Yes, we design logos – most often within a larger project scope such as a brand development assignment, but we also design logos as one-off projects. Bear in mind, we cannot compete with crowd-sourced sites or individual freelancer pricing.

There are too many variables involved with a large-scale project like a website design to give an exact estimate without discussing specifics. We can tell you that a typical website budget range for us would begin in the $10K-$20K range.

Depending on the size of the company, most experts suggest 7 – 8 percent of your gross annual revenue should be set aside for your marketing budget. If you are a startup or looking for substantial growth, that percentage should be higher.

The majority of our work is project-based, but we have a handful of retainer relationships that we greatly value. If you think your company would be a good fit for us, please contact us and let’s get the conversation started.

Our core services are done completely in-house. We may engage outside partners for photography, illustration, video, marketing plans/media buying, social media, SEO campaigns and printing.

When you’re choosing a brand agency we recommend that your first step should be evaluating their work. This should allow you to gauge whether the agency seems to be a quantity or quality shop. Quantity shops can be a bit more cost competitive, but the work can seem generic. Quality shops, like Dyno Creative, pride themselves on doing work that is unique and creative, even if the cost is not as competitive.
