Here at Dyno Creative, our talent isn’t the only thing that sets us apart from our competition. Each member of the Dyno tribe comes from a diverse background of personal and professional experiences that inform the high level of service we provide our clients. Let’s get to know each other!
Today, we’re introducing you to Dyno Creative’s UX/UI Designer, Angela Comstock.

When it comes to all things UI/UX at Dyno Creative, Angela’s artistic influence is a driving force behind its success. Her passion for graphic design, music, and adventure gives her a unique perspective as she tackles branding and illustration projects for our diverse clients.
When she isn’t knocking out epic website designs and brand assets, you can find her attending concerts with friends, on the ski slopes, hiking mountains, and enjoying nature’s beauty.

Originally from Colorado, Angela discovered her passion for art and graphic design in high school. After initially focusing on music, Angela participated in a graphic design class during her junior year. Between the inspiring instructor encouraging her to pursue art beyond her small town and the new techniques she learned, she decided to attend a four-week pre-college program at Columbus College of Art and Design, which then solidified her decision to apply for colleges with solid art programs.
After considering several art colleges across the U.S., Angela visited the Laguna College of Art and Design and fell in love with its small, close-knit community and 1:1 interactions with professors. Angela graduated from LCAD in May 2023.
Since then, Angela has worked for Dyno Creative as well as done some freelance design work for REI. She was recently approached by REI to do a sticker series to commemorate the opening of its new Laguna Hills location. “Because I understood the background of the area, I was able to base all the features of the sticker design on key landmarks in and around the Laguna Hills area,” shared Comstock. This experience has since led to more work for other brands, including a kickstarter matcha brand.

As a UI/UX designer, Angela works closely with Dyno’s design team and web developer assisting with the designs that go into a client’s new website. She also takes the lead on developing new branding materials, marketing collateral, graphics, and leading client meetings on brand discovery.

Q: Why do you like working at Dyno Creative?
A: “I heard of Dyno while I attended school at LCAD. Both Daniel and Austin were my professors. I ran into Daniel at a Taco truck after school one day and we began chatting about my interest in branding. My core values aligned with Dyno’s, and Daniel was looking for an intern. Ta da! My one-semester internship turned into a full school year which led to a full-time position. It’s been a very natural progression, and I am grateful. The team is awesome and I continue to learn a lot from everyone.”
Q: Why should people hire Dyno Creative?
A: “Many times, clients think the simplest or cheapest solution is the way to go. Then, they realize it isn’t the right fit and turn to Dyno to correct what didn’t work. Our vast backgrounds and ability to push boundaries beyond what is normally expected allow us to deliver a unique product that helps clients differentiate themselves from competitors.”
