When you go to the Frida’s next showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, you can now take home a part of the experience through our Sweet Screenprints, allowing you to relive all of the horror, laughter, shock, and excitement.
Each month, the Frida Cinema does the time warp and transports audiences back to the home of their favorite deranged scientist. In order to have patrons take the experience home with them, we created a limited edition screen print you can hang in your own twisted laboratory.
We set out to Fuel Frank-N-Furter’s followers’ fantasies with a delicious Dyno Creative original poster design.
The Rocky Horror picture show is a bold, self assertive, and an experience needing to be had, I had seen this not long before the project had come through the pipeline so I was excited to communicate my feelings of the movie visually, through the poster. Frank n Furter is a one of a kind soul taking control of your attention through the whole film, stripping away any prejudice you may have, and so I went through the process of figuring out how to depict this. I arrived at Frank appearing above the clouds, our two newcomers, Janet and Brad, brought down to their trousers, and a frame with classic set elements to give the feel of a production set to pay homage to the show still being performed in theatres. Style wise, I really put to use my knowledge of graphic shapes that convey just the right amount of information.
