The Face Place Branding + Website Redesign

Based in Columbia, Maryland The Face Place is more than a spa—it’s a sanctuary tucked within The Spot Community Wellness Lounge, a multifaceted healing space featuring barbers, wellness professionals, and personal care experts.

Stephanie, the founder, approached Dyno Creative with a vision: she wanted her space to feel as intentional online as it did in person. The catch? Her digital presence was a jumble of outdated landing pages, conflicting brand visuals, and a lack of cohesion between The Face Place and its larger umbrella, The Spot. Our challenge was crafting a unified, elevated brand identity that honored the individual experience and the larger community context.

The Goal

Establish a clear and elevated brand identity for The Face Place—one that feels cohesive within The Spot’s Collective and offers visitors a seamless, inviting digital experience.

Branding

The Face Place needed an identity that reflected its warmth and tranquility, while also feeling adaptable enough to live within the larger Spot ecosystem. We created two interlocking brand systems: one for The Spot, and one for The Face Place.
For The Face Place, we developed:
  • A calming, welcoming brand palette
  • Refined type systems and logo marks
  • A visual language that conveyed personal transformation and radiance
Each brand element was designed to speak to the spa’s emotional core: a place where guests come to heal and emerge renewed, ready to ripple that wellness into their personal, social, and professional lives.

Digital Development

We led the digital experience, consolidating two outdated sites into a cohesive platform. The new website centers The Face Place as the hero while gently introducing The Spot as the nurturing container around it.
We emphasized:
  • Clear navigation and intuitive flow
  • High-quality photography that reflected the real experience
  • Thoughtful storytelling through color, layout, and content
The result? It is a site that not only clarifies the difference between The Face Place and The Spot but invites users into a calming, luxurious digital journey that mirrors the care they’ll receive in person.

From the bold landing page, adorned with effective illustrations and swirling coffee beans, to the intuitive navigation that mimics the fluid movements of these mythical beasts, our site mirrors the exhilarating experience of savoring Kaiju Brews. Effortlessly marrying form and function, the platform offers an immersive showcase of our exclusive blends, guided by an intuitive layout that ensures a seamless journey through the world of Kaiju-inspired coffee.
