While nobody asked us to, we couldn’t resist taking the opportunity to create some seriously cool logo marks for a local Orange County comic book store, Comic Quest. I mean, come on…sounds like a cool name!

Our love for comic book stores led us to believe they should have a logo that represents the awesome nature of their business. Dyno Creative explored some different ideas taking the concept of adventure and the nature of a “quest” and incorporated some storytelling book elements to create a suite of different logo options.

The Goal

We challenged ourselves to create a logo mark that represents the awesome name and nature behind the comic book store, Comic Quest.

Branding

With a particular focus on logo design, we started on a quest to renew the power to the kingdom of Comic Quest, so we searched for the greatest typography and illustration to bring glory back to their land. We ventured through great castles, met dragons, and discovered great spells that allowed us to develop this great logo suite.

Results

We used this as an opportunity to make something cool and tap into our childhood love of comics and comic book stores. That childlike wonder fuels our imagination and will hopefully appeal to other businesses in need of equally epic logo marks.
