We set out to create a limited edition screen printed poster to help raise money for the Frida Cinema, and give the film’s fans something to keep them up at night!
Focusing on the horrifying transformation of man to werewolf, April perfectly captures the levels of horror and intrigue that “An American Werewolf in London” has delivered to audiences for decades. From the get-go, we intended to design the poster with the glow-in-the-dark ink to highlight the importance of the moon to werewolf mythology.
Who doesn’t love a classic Screen Printed poster?! Having to work with a limited color palette can create beautiful color harmonies and really force a designer to pay close attention to the visual hierarchy in the design.
We took things a step further and went for a glow-in-the-dark finish, allowing this print to revel in the moonlight.
