Dyno Creative had a blast attending KombuchaKon 2022 this year! It’s the largest industry kombucha festival in the country and it happens every year in Long Beach, California. We count ourselves very lucky to live so close! Not only did we meet lots of amazing people from the kombucha community, we learned a ton of new information about what the kombucha community is looking for in their efforts to educate and expand their market. Our very own Daniel Adoff gave a stellar presentation on branding and how to build a successful company culture. Check out our highlights, insights, and fun during our time at KombuchaKon. We hope to see you there in 2023!
Anytime you get a group of people together who share a common interest or passion, in this case kombucha, wonderful memories are made! We had SO MUCH FUN trying new kombucha, listening to live music at the 80’s themed party, and enjoying delicious food! We even got to meet the founder of The Good Guys, the largest kombucha brand in Finland.
As face-to-face conferences start to make their comeback, we can’t help but reflect on how special it was to see friends, both old and new, and to catch up on what’s been going on in their lives. We reminisced on what was taking place in our professional and personal lives prior to the pandemic, reflected on how business has been going since then, shared our hopes and future aspirations, and engaged in some deep conversations about the meaning of kombucha, its culture and powerful community, and its place in the world. Simply put, you can’t put a price tag on quality conversations with genuine hard-working people.
While every company has a different mission, the need for effective branding and building a positive company culture acts as a common thread that unites us all. Channeling the great Yoda, we believe a brand is ‘the force’ that “binds all living things. It surrounds us, it penetrates us.” A brand is a collaboration between your company and the world. Your carefully crafted identity determines how people will respond and interact with you, so it is imperative that you do it right. Thankfully, we know a thing or two about great branding and business strategy!
Proud to present at KombuchaKon 2022, Dyno Creative’s Principal & Chief Strategist Daniel Adoff presented a workshop geared towards assisting businesses in their further exploration of branding and company culture. Through the use of branding exercises, such as developing brand pillars, Daniel was able to successfully reinforce the invaluable benefits of clear and consistent branding and its impact, both direct and indirect, on fostering a positive company culture.
We were amazed to learn that only 18% of the US population has even tried kombucha. This fermented tea has been around for centuries, but it’s only recently that it has become popular in the Western world. The kombucha community is passionate, supportive, and growing rapidly. Kombucha brands are expanding into new markets, such as hard kombucha, so there is a lot of potential for further growth. We’re excited to see what the future holds for this amazing industry!
Overall, KombuchaKon 2022 was a fantastic event, and Dyno Creative is looking forward to returning next year! If you missed us at KombuchaKon this year, be sure to check out our website and social media for kombucha branding tips and tricks. And if you’re ever in Finland, be sure to try The Good Guys kombucha! It’s delicious, we promise.
